For my girlfriend and my moms 89th birthday we booked a day of inshore fishing on the Big Eye.  target sepcies was rooster fish and to have mom hook up.  We had a great day with lots of inshore action on many species.  Black tuna, yellowfin tuna, spanish mackerel, bonita and to top it off mom got a small dorado and my girlfriend got a 35 lb rooster fish.  The crew was amazing took special care of mom and made sure we had a great time.  food,drinks and fishing gear was also great!!

We had such a fun trip with Gerald, first mate Jose and the captain. The crew were friendly, spoke excellent English, happy and very knowledgeable. They even picked us up on the beach at our hotel which was a bonus. We caught 3 tuna right away, a huge marlin and sailfish on our 6 hr trip. Had a spectacular day on F/V Sea Star!!! After picking us up right off our resort beach, they asked what my two buddies and I were targeting. Sailfish has been at the top of my “bucket list” for a long time……so off we went. Captain Ronald and deckhands Gerald & Jose were EXCEPTIONAL. The Sea Star Crew really made it a great fishing day for my kids to remember.  From pickup to drop off everything went very smoothly.  The Deckhands Gerald & Jose made sure to interact with the kids and even showed them how and why they gear prep the way they do.  Once fishing all the kids were able to catch fish. 2 Sailfish & 2 Mahi Mahi.  Gerald even used some of the Mahi Mahi to make a delicious sashimi plate that the kids devoured.  At the end we wished we could have fished longer, so... First let me start off by saying we went on another charter earlier in the week with another charter and it was inshore and the six of us didn’t even touch a fishing pole. Now Jose and Robbie were AMAZING! Everyone on the boat caught a fish and we all took turns on a 104 inch blue marlin.
