What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur for the first time?

We were told after we returned that no fish were close everything way way out, nothing was said before we pulled away from the Dock

Great time to fishing and the set up made it easy for a a couple people to catch their first marlin on their first deep sea fishing trip

If you have any virgin anglers, be sure to give them Dremamine the night before and the morning of. The Pacific side is pretty rough.

If fished here in March and October on several occasions and October has always been a better experience.

First time fishing charter in Cabo. Didn’t know what to expect but everything turned out great. We went 1st of October, most everyone was catching fish. Can’t wait to come back.

Do your research on what company to charter. There are good ones and not so good. Quality makes for a better trip and experience

Question your captain about where your flotation devices are. Ask specifically about the water conditions even if you’re only going 2 to 4 miles out. Be perpared for very rough seas

We had 3 bites during the entire 5 hour trip. We caught those first few by 7:45am and just spent the next 4ish hours puttering around.

5 hours goes by so quick wish i would have booked the all day trip to get more fish but thats what every fisherman says

These guys will get you on the fish!! Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had caught 4 trophy marlin within a couple of hours.

Much calmer waters than I expected. 4-5' in 13 second swells are nothing. Really really hot in August so stay in the shade.

Book the 8 hour trip. You never know when that bucket list fish will swallow that hook. Blue Tail ll did not disappoint

Just keep an open mind, each trip is so different and just being out on the water there is always so much to see and learn!

Can be hit or miss - Striped Marlin are typically always around but the Mahi and Tuna can be harder to come by

Get out there, enjoy the ocean, the expeirence be patient. Let the crew work and you won't be disappointed!!!!

Make sure you book your trip for the best time of year to catch your targeted fish. There is a lot of information available on line to get that info.

Just be mindful that depending on temperature the fish may or may not be plentiful. That said, they sights are wonderful.

Take non drowsy gravol every two hours and take some two hrs before leaving dock Bring lotsnof water and gatorade

Professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Should always be the first choice when considering fishing in Cabo.

Make sure you choose a captain that wants to catch fish and make sure you go with the captain that you booked, don’t let them switch last minute

Be prepared for the sun and hydrate. If you’re on a smaller boat (30 footer or less) and prone to motion sickness, take dramamine! The waters are super choppy

Don’t half day trips. Full days give you more time to enjoy the water and not be in a rush. Half day is cutting yourself short.

Just to understand that you’re going fishing and that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll catch anything so try to enjoy the time on the water, the scenery and being with your group.

Vendors before and after your trip can be pretty tricky. You do need the fishing license which is $20 per person. Snacks and drinks are optional and kind of expensive if you buy near the docks.

If you get sea sick, take something for it! My buddy got sick but thank God it was at the end of our trip.

Take motion sickness meds so you can enjoy. It was very wavy and warm. Sunscreen, water and your meds. And light long sleeves to hold the fish. Some scales burn your skin.

No they over charged and checked the bate once in a 3 hour boat ride and I said boat ride cause thats what we got
