It was a beautiful morning sailing out of Herradura Bay. We caught one good sized Rooster Fish followed by a giant barracuda that severed the leader before we could bring him aboard. We also had some snapper on the line, which was fun!

Fishing started out slow for rooster fish, so Black Snapper II headed a little farther out to catch some bait fish and begin to reel in the prizes.

They headed out in search of one. of the best eating fish on the planet--yellow-finned tuna. They landed three large fish, but the real story was about the one that got away! They dropped a 2-pound live bait overboard and within seconds it was as if a freight train hit the line. Both anglers and the mate struggled for nearly 3 hours to haul in the monster. However, the constant reeling in and fish pulling out finally overheated the line and it snapped...made for a great day!
