It was the third & final day of 18 year old Andy’s fishing trip aboard GOOD DAY to celebrate his high school graduation along with his father Jim. After a slow first couple of days it was great to finally get into a better grade of fish & Andy had a proper workout getting the better of a solid Yellowfin Tuna in the 65-70lb class and was unlucky to lose a similar size fish just under the boat when the hook pulled. No sooner had we got the Tuna on Ice, we hooked into a Blue Marlin on 30lb class which pushed Andy to the limit for 1 hour 40 minutes before we finally got the fish boatside. Some quick photos & a Tag deployed for Gray FishTag Research and it was mission complete! A great end to the 3 days and we will be back out there tomorrow trying to make some more dreams come true!
