It has been unusually wet this month, with a few great days, and usually when I am not booked I run out and find fish, keeping up with the fish. Being alone this day, I tried live bait and trolling with umbrella rigs. Live bait was slow and mostly smaller fish so I trollied that gets the most fish for my customers a few of my choice spots. Posting any reports usually tells other where the fish are located, but I will find them if a spot is crowded. This day I caught 8 fish on two rods, and being alone, had a hard time landing big fish, holding the rod and netting at same time. Also all big fish were returned to water, but I kept some smaller ones, as lots friends wanting cleaned fish his days. I caught some 30 fish, but as I say only brought in a few. It was GREAT DAY, since its December and usually cold here. I fish for stripers, using the method that my customer like, telling them naturally what works the best at the time, and they can decide. If they dont care, sometimes we do both! Anyway get your dates in, and lets enjoy fishing on the Striper Capital of the World!
