Hot bite and happy crew! Summer fishing on the bay was in full swing as I took Benny out for a 5-Hour AM Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We hit the water early, launching at 7:00 am to make the most of the morning bite. The weather couldn't have been better, with clear conditions throughout the day, setting us up for some great action. South Padre Island's diverse fishery was on full display as we explored various spots around the bay. Our efforts paid off when Benny hooked into a nice Spotted Trout measuring in at a solid 19 7/8 inches. The fight was on, and Benny did a great job bringing it to the boat. We also managed to land some Redfish, adding variety to our catch. We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, having experienced the best of what South Padre Island has to offer.
