We had a 9-person group from Georgia down for a 3-day trip, and it turned into a great one. The first day started off a little slow with minimal tide, but after making a move to find better water movement, the bite picked up. Once we got on them, the sheepshead were coming in steady and kept everyone busy. Trips like this are always a good time—multiple boats, good company, and plenty of action on the water. Daniel’s crew joined us for a day on the water, and we started off on a solid sheepshead bite. Not long into the trip, we had a little “casualty of the sea,” so we switched gears and took a short ride to let things settle out. After that reset, we got back to fishing—making a few moves and dialing in on some trout that were ready to cooperate. The crew stayed positive, and we were able to turn it into a productive and memorable trip.
