Overzicht van de Trip

After a little fresh fruit to start the day, we went in search of Roosterfish or Gallos as they're known in Costa Rica. We used live sardines and quickly caught two good-sized fish. Then we enjoyed some cookies and sandwiches as we reeled in several jacks, a mackerel and some needlefish. Not bad a for a 1/2 day! A great time was had by all.

Black Snapper II is a very versatile boat. Ideally suited for inshore fishing for Roosterfish, it's also a fast and quickly maneuvered offshore boat. We headed out for sailfish first and found a sweat spot. Then, heading in we found tuna and dorado. Another great day aboard Black Snapper II out of Marina Pez Vela in Quepos!
