My dad and I took a trip out with Capt John out to the deep wrecks and reef even though it was a slow day fishing Capt John was great company and did not stop trying to put us on the fish. We were able to catch enough of fish for a sizable dinner for the two of us. Overall it was a great day out on the water. Capt John’s boat is one of the most comfortable rides I’ve had on a center console and it makes getting to the fish easy. We will be looking forward to a future trip out on the funyet... Meer

We had a ton of fun fishing with Captain John!  His experience and knowledge are phenomenal.  The boat and fishing equipment are first rate. Captain John was helpful and patient teaching a bunch of midwesterners how to fish in the ocean. We had a blast catching a bunch of fish!  We highly recommend this outfit and Captain John.

Trip was postponed until Sunday due to weather. Once we went out Sunday morning, it was a great trip. The tides didn’t cooperate, and with the West winds, we knew the fish bite would be slow. Captain John stayed out a few extra hours due to this and we got it done. We caught enough fish for dinner that night. Captain John recommended a great restaurant that cooked up all our fillets. We will definitely book with him again when we go back to the Keys in 2022. We highly recommend him.

Three of us, my wife, son and myself, had a great time. A little windy so we went on gulf side. Captain John worked very hard to get us some keepers as the fish would nibble and were not very aggressive in taking jigs or even live bait. He wanted to make sure we returned with dinner and spent an extra hour finding a productive spot so we brought home five keepers for dinner and then some. Cleaned them too so we are looking forward to enjoying our catch tonight. Even picked us up and dropped us... Meer
