What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina for the first time?

Our captain nick and Jaylen was excellent. They explained everything as needed. Helped the entire time and even made jokes. Definitely would recommend them to anyone!!

Make sure you bring that hat and sunscreen, and wear water resistant light layers. You will be getting wet and covered with fish blood. Don't wear anything you don't want to get too dirty.

Enjoy your surroundings. Listen to your guide/Captain about how to catch what’s in season. Remember, the fish may or may not bite.

Parking is easy, you can go all the way to the docks if parking is open. All the restaurants will validate parking for the day as well!

I caught a 3’ hammer head shark in addition to so many other local varieties. Beautiful waters and surroundings too.

Fish on the New Inlet Princess out of Crazy Sister Marina. We did and loaded the freezer with fresh fish..

Book later than March. Water was too cold to catch enough fish to make the $635.00 dollars worth the trip.

Be patient. I had doubts about catching anything due to the weather, very windy. Sometimes nothing can be caught. Lucky we hit a couple. Not the charter boat captains fault if nothing is biting!

We were supposed to fish inshore and near shore. But the conditions wouldn't allow the inshore. Captain Nick put us on a lot of fish. Great time!!!

This is surf fishing and that takes a lot of work to get the lines far enough out for quality catches. The captain used a kayak to drop the lines at a great spot.

Understand that fishing is, by nature, fickle. You will have good days and bad days. Everything is a part of the experience... and be thankful that you had the opportunity be on the water.

Full/Harvest moon probably wasn’t the best choice but we actually decided on this charter at last minute! But the experience was great!

I will, definitely recommend this trip for anyone who wants to go fishing. However, I would say if you have small children, tell the Captain you want to stay in calmer waters.

Murrells Inlet is a great location for fishing. The inlet is so close and easy to travel to the waters. Many experienced fisherman available.

It was my first time and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend Murrells Inlet. Beautiful scenery and expert guide!

If you get mosion sick make sure to take a dramamine beacause of the waves. I also recomend fishing in the winter beacause it is better fishing.

Sometimes you do good, sometimes you don't. Be polite and respectful to your crew. Tip well! They work hard for their money!

Lots of variables in July/August. Find an experienced Capt. who will work hard and make decisions based on results and current conditions.

Mid summer is hot and unpredictable. Fish are going to be where the bait is at and in the right temperature of water. Nothing is guaranteed, but any day on the water is a great day.

Great friendly marina. After fishing we went upstairs overlooking the marina and marsh for an ice cold beer.

Expect to spend time finding the fish at this time of year. The water and air temps are hot making fishing difficult.

The trip is fun for a not so serious fishing trip in July. You will catch fish... summer is hard fishing. Supper nice guys and very professional. Wr had a great time...

Drink plenty of fluids and vitamins and if if you don’t have a strong stomach for out in the sea make sure to be prepared with medicine ahead of time!
