There was a prevalent red tide in the area when we were here. Lots of dead little fish on every beach we visited. Still caught fish on our trip though.

Be patient and pick through smaller fish and you will be rewarded with some larger keepers as well. We caught fish all day and had fun.

Yes it was hot but the fishing made my wife and I forget all about the heat. Best part is it's a slower time of year so the fish haven't been stressed out by over fishing.

Go somewhere else, halfway through our charter the captain said that red tide wiped out the fishing a handful of years ago 2018 and it’s still recovering.

Offshore fishing 60 to 70 miles out. 10 or 12hr trip will give you the best chance to catch the bigger fish.

Plan a half day trip if you are taking your kids for the first time. This gives you plenty of time to catch multiple fish.
